Jennifer Gay

Client Service Manager

Jennifer Gay is our Client Service Manager. A native Atlantan from Dunwoody, Jennifer graduated with a Business degree in Marketing and Finance from Florida State University. After completing her studies, Jennifer returned to Atlanta where she currently resides in Brookhaven. Prior to joining our team, Jennifer worked at SignatureFD as a Senior Client Service Associate and Team Lead for 15 years and previously spent 4 years at Merrill Lynch where she earned her Series 7 and Series 66 licenses, as well as insurance certifications.

In her free time, Jennifer enjoys playing tennis and pickleball, traveling, cooking, snow skiing, and spending time with her 5 nieces and nephews. She’s also passionate about volunteering with the Ronald McDonald House and her sorority Alpha Chi Omega. When she’s not busy with activities, you can find her at home with her 3-year-old King Charles Cavalier, Fannie Mae!

David Doverspike, J.D., LL.M.

Family Office Wealth Strategist

David Doverspike serves as our Wealth Strategist. He provides high-touch family office services to individuals and families through a principle-driven approach that helps them identify and achieve their generational, lifestyle, investment, tax, and charitable goals.

Prior to joining our team in 2026, David served as Vice President of Finance and Operations for the Georgia Center for Opportunity, an Atlanta-based nonprofit. Before that, he spent more than nine years at Blue Trust, serving on its multi-family office and estate/philanthropic teams, where he advised families to help them achieve their financial, estate, trust, tax, investment, and philanthropic goals.

David earned his J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Alabama School of Law, as well as bachelor’s degrees in Risk Management and Insurance and Sport Management from the University of Georgia.

Outside of work, he enjoys playing tennis and pickleball, mentoring, traveling, spending time with friends and family, and pursuing growth in all aspects of life. David is married to his, wife, Kayla, and they are actively involved in their local church, Lebanon Baptist Church.

Madi Grosse

Family Office Associate

Madi Grosse is our Family Office Associate. In this role, she works closely with our Family Office team to ensure that day-to-day processes run smoothly and support our families as they work toward a happy retirement.

Madi graduated from the University of Georgia in 2023, where she earned a BBA in Finance and International Business, with a concentration in pricing and valuation. Prior to joining CIA, Madi worked in New York as an investment banking analyst at J.P. Morgan, where she focused on middle market M&A, IPO, restructuring, and client advisory transactions in the consumer & retail, industrials, business services, and technology sectors.

She’s originally from Acworth and has now moved back to Atlanta, and currently resides in the Old Fourth Ward. She enjoys jewelry making, listening to music, trying new restaurants, and traveling with friends.

Ansur Ahmed

Private Investment Specialist

Ansur works to help develop CFO client deliverables. In particular, he serves as a resource in constructing and executing Private Investment allocations.

Ansur joined Altera, CIA’s preferred private investment partner, in 2020 and CIA in 2022. At CIA, he is a Private Investments Specialist, helping advisors and clients utilize private investments. In his concurrent role at Altera, he ensures integration between clients and their investment offerings.

Previously, Ansur worked in New York as an investment banking analyst at Goldman Sachs. At Goldman, he worked on M&A, IPO, restructuring, and client advisory transactions in the Global Natural Resources Group. After Goldman, Ansur served as the Vice President of Finance at RAM Hotels, a hospitality development company in Columbus, GA. At RAM, Ansur led asset acquisition/dispositions, sourced/refinanced debt, and fostered relationships with new equity capital.

Ansur grew up in Columbus, Georgia, and attended the Honors College at the University of Georgia, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Genetics and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. In his free time, Ansur enjoys listening to podcasts, traveling to new places, and trying different cuisines.

Mitch Reiner, CFP®, CIMA®

Managing Partner, Senior Investment Advisor

Three core pillars define Mitch’s time and life: family, business, and community.

In 2022, Mitch created the Capital Family Office division of CIA. Today, he partners with Mike to serve and advise CFO families and provide oversight as a division of Capital Investment Advisors.

Mitch has been a proud member of the CIA family since 2005. Today, his role is two-fold. As Managing Partner, he heads the Leadership Team, guiding the company toward its long-term vision while continuously working to maintain the stellar reputation of its present-day culture. Mitch also sits on the CIA Investment Committee.

As a Senior Investment Advisor, Mitch works chiefly with families that operate or have sold a business or inherited wealth. Regardless of the client, Mitch’s goal is to help them find happiness in retirement. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, Mitch’s education, training, and experience are crucial to assisting clients regardless of their unique financial situation.

Mitch is a proud Georgia Bulldog, graduating from the Terry College of Business at The University of Georgia with a BBA in Finance. He is also a Leonard Leadership Scholar, a competitive leadership program in the business school that selects only the top thirty students to collaborate with some of the greatest business minds the U.S. has to offer. He enjoys giving back by supporting his alma mater. He has previously served as an officer for the Terry College of Business Young Alumni Board and as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Student Managed Investment Fund.

Mitch lives in the Virginia Highland neighborhood of Atlanta with his beautiful wife, Jenny, and their two terrific children, Micah and Ayla. On weekends, you can find them strolling North Highland in search of dinner and ice cream. In addition to spending time with his family and helping clients find happiness, Mitch’s passions include golf, fly fishing, grilling, exercise, and attending Braves and Bulldogs games.

Mike Parsons, CFA

Family Office Advisor

Mike Parsons is our Family Office Advisor. He works directly with each member of our team to provide our suite of high-touch services for individuals and families. Mike delivers our Family Office value proposition via his thoughtful approach to comprehensive private and public investment allocation and advice. He bridges the gap between tax, estate planning, insurance, charitable, and family planning. Mike is a CFA charterholder per the CFA Institute and took over leadership of Capital Family Office in 2022.

In the decade before joining CIA, Mike was a Director at RBC Capital Markets, managing institutional equity relationships. There, he developed a keen sense of the ‘how’ and ‘why’ of markets. He worked closely with Wall Street analysts and corporate investor relations teams to generate relevant insights for his hedge fund, mutual fund, and pension fund clients in the Southeastern US. Before that, Mike served ultra-high-net-worth families at Lehman Brothers and UBS Wealth Management.

Mike is a proud Texan and graduate of Auburn University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with honors. He and his wife, Laura, stay busy in and around Atlanta with their four young children. When he isn’t coaching his kids in various sports, Mike enjoys cooking, skiing, fishing, paddle boarding, hunting, and anything mountain-related. He also loves to read, learn, and discuss a wide range of subjects. Mike and his family are members of Christ Covenant Church.
